Factory Manager

1. Production Management: 
• Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Plan, schedule, and manage production to meet quality, quantity, and cost targets.
• Monitor production progress and address delays or issues to ensure deadlines are met.

2. Team Leadership: 
• Lead and manage the production team, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and targets are defined.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve high performance standards.
• Implement and oversee staff schedules, shifts, and labour management.

3. Quality Control: 
• Ensure all products meet company quality standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to handle non-conformance and resolve quality issues.

4. Safety and Compliance: 
• Ensure that all factory operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.

5. Budget and Cost Management: 
• Manage and control factory budgets, including labour, materials, and overhead costs.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
• Optimize resource utilization to improve profitability.

6. Process Improvement: 
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is running at optimal performance levels.
• Lead initiatives on continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices.

7. Inventory and Supply Chain Management: 
• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory levels.
• Work with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials.
• Manage warehouse operations, including material handling, storage, and shipping.

8. Reporting and Communication: 
• Prepare regular production reports and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Maintain open communication channels with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, and sales.
• Ensure any issues that may affect production timelines are communicated promptly.
